ApplicationThe HPMA is a scale inhibitor used in alkaline environment. Due to excellent antifouling performance and high temperature resistance, it is widely used in flash unit for sea water desalination, low pressure boiler and industrial circulating cooling water system. When used alone, the concentration is generally 1-15mg/L. It is often compounded with organic phosphonate for water treatment. Its can peel deposited scale and inhibit the new formation, with an inhibition rate as high as 98%.
