Polycarboxylate Scale Inhibitor and Dispersant
Modified Sodium Polyacrylate 2000 (SPA 2000)
Application
The SPA2000 is an acrylic-sulfonate copolymer, a high-performance water scale dispersant. It effectively prevents salts like calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate and other inorganic minerals from scaling. In the phosphate-based water treatment formulations, it plays a significant role in the stability of calcium phosphate. In zinc formulations, it serves as an efficient stabilizer of zinc salts.
Generally, the SPA2000 scale inhibitor achieves efficient dispersion of inorganic particles and resists the influence of pH value. Similar to Modified Sodium Polyacrylate 2000, it is used alone with a concentration of 10-30mg/L.
