Application

The HPAA features good chemical stability. It is hard to be hydrolyzed, or be destroyed by acid and alkali, so it is suitable for low hardness and corrosive water conditions.. Its anti-corrosion performance is better than that of HEDP and EDTMP.

The HPAA is mainly used as a cathode metal corrosion inhibitor in steel, petrochemical, power, pharmaceutical and other industries. It works better in compound use with low molecular weight polymer and zinc salt.
