ApplicationThe HEDP can form stable complexes with iron, copper, zinc and other metal ions. It can dissolve oxide on metal surface. Even at 250 ℃, it still has good anti-corrosion and anti-scale performance and remains stable under high pH conditions. This scale and corrosion inhibitor is hard to be hydrolyzed, or break down under normal light and heat conditions. It has better acid, alkali and oxychlorination resistance than other organic phosphonic acid (salt).
The HEDP is used in electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, fertilizer and other industrial cooling water systems, as well as water and oil pipelines in medium and low pressure boilers and oil fields.
