Application

The potassium salt of HEDP, as compared with the sodium salt of HEDP, has a higher solubility under neutral conditions. It is an excellent inhibitor of calcium carbonate scale. The HEDP.Kx is mainly used for metal corrosion inhibition, swimming pool anti-fouling, metal cleaning, tank cleaning, iron fouling control, metal pretreatment, low pressure boiler water treatment, and water recycling.
